A week or so ago I decided to add a work at home mom story to my blog. I will try my best to feature a different Mom and her story each week. I came across Kim's Work at Home Resource site, www.WAHMOMS.net,while looking for partners and link exchanges.

Here is Kim' Story! I hope it inspires others who are wanting to make money from home.

"Hi my name is Kim Miller. I am a work at home mom to 2 great kids! Rachel
11 and Christopher 7. I'm the founder of Work at Home Moms :: Wahmoms.net.
I guess you could say I didn't find my home business, my home business
found me, here's my story;

I bought my first home computer in 1999 with the desire and determination
to work from home. I wanted to be home and watch my children grow up, not
hear about it from someone else. I wanted to have more flexibility in my
schedule, to attend my children's classroom parties, parent teachers
conferences and other daytime activities at school without having to get
permission from my boss to get the time off. I wanted and needed to be my
own Boss!

Having no experience with the Internet, I soon fell prey to every scam
artist out there! eMail processors, Home Typists, Envelope stuffing, List
complier jobs...All SCAMS! I got sick and tired of being cheated out of
money and found out that I was not alone! There were other moms out there
that were going through the same thing. Everytime someone would post a
company on a message board, I would do research and post the results. I
found that I loved doing research and I felt good about helping other moms
avoid falling victim to scams. That was my passion, my calling so to
speak....but, I still needed to find a way to earn an income online

.....and thus Wahmoms.net was born. out of that desire to help the
growing number of moms who like me were saying No to the traditional
workforce, to stay at home and raise their children while still wanting
and needing to contribute to the family's finances.

This website is dedicated to helping moms work at home, be their own boss
and most importantly be home with their children. Providing home business
information, work at home job resources, articles, ideas, classified ads,
message boards and more. I support moms who work at home by offering
advertising for their home business opportunities, products and/or
services.

I love being a work at home mom and I love what I do... helping moms find
the work at home job they dream of!"
