Halloween Costume Ideas
Halloween is fast approaching...Have your kids decided on what they are going to dress up as? Have you chosen a costume for the baby?
At first our 3 year old wanted to be Woody from Toy Story then he saw a UK Football Uniform Costume ( which his papaw paid $35 for) and now that is what he is going to go as. He is really excited. He has been wearing it and playing in it for days.
As for our 3 1/2 month old- we dont know yet. It's his first Halloween and we havent come up with a costume yet. I thought about letting him wear one of his brother's old costumes but that just doesnt seem right since its his first Halloween. I've been trying to come up with some cheap ideas but havent really came up with anything yet...
Our city will be celebrating Halloween on the 28th this year since the 31st falls on a Sunday so I dont have much time left. I'm not good with sewing or putting things together and basically our only option is Wal-mart in this small town and it's too late to buy online. Does anyone know of any cheap and easy ideas for a costume for a baby?
if you do...tell me...seriously!

:O! I call my grandfather papaw to this day. Just thought that was interesting.
Amanda,
My son (14 months) is going to be a mouse. Only because he told his sister that's what he wanted to be. :D
When she was a few months old she was a caterpillar - but she was my first born and I made her outfit from scratch - - out of a Martha Stewart magazine no less! LOL
Good luck, maybe he told his older brother what he wanted to be already, have you asked?

How about dressing up your infant as a button? you could make the button out of cardboard and put him in a sweatsuit (or PJ's) underneath. Then he will literally be 'cute as a button'!
Dorothy and Toto (in a moses basket or carseat carrier) is popular... We are going with our 6 mo old in an ergo on Dad's back as Yoda and Luke Skywalker...
