We are moving...ugh!! It is not any fun!

Well, my family and I are moving this weekend. Moving from one house to another is never a fun thing. We have so much to pack up and so much to get rid of too!

I hope to be back online by Monday or Tuesday of next week. I will try to answer emails as I can. I am also getting a new email address so my bellsouth email address will no longer be valid after this weekend. If you havent been reading the message boards about the Free Baby Photo Contest then you should go on over to the boards and read now. We need your feedback and opinions!

There will be changes to the Free Baby Photo Contest starting with the September 2004 contest. This will be a trial period and we will go without viewer voting for one month and winners will solely be judged by a panel of Moms. However, there will also be some new rules. If you plabn on entering your child in the Free Baby Photo Contest please read the rules. We will accept 100 entries throughout the entire month and each week we will place 25 on the site for the judges to choose 5 to go to the final round. There will be a total of 20 in the final round and judges will choose the overall winners at that time. Your entry will be placed in the weekly rounds as it is received. You must send in a valid entry so please read the rules CAREFULLY!

WAHM Story~Kim Miller~WahMoms.net

A week or so ago I decided to add a work at home mom story to my blog. I will try my best to feature a different Mom and her story each week. I came across Kim's Work at Home Resource site, www.WAHMOMS.net,while looking for partners and link exchanges.

Here is Kim' Story! I hope it inspires others who are wanting to make money from home.

"Hi my name is Kim Miller. I am a work at home mom to 2 great kids! Rachel
11 and Christopher 7. I'm the founder of Work at Home Moms :: Wahmoms.net.
I guess you could say I didn't find my home business, my home business
found me, here's my story;

I bought my first home computer in 1999 with the desire and determination
to work from home. I wanted to be home and watch my children grow up, not
hear about it from someone else. I wanted to have more flexibility in my
schedule, to attend my children's classroom parties, parent teachers
conferences and other daytime activities at school without having to get
permission from my boss to get the time off. I wanted and needed to be my
own Boss!

Having no experience with the Internet, I soon fell prey to every scam
artist out there! eMail processors, Home Typists, Envelope stuffing, List
complier jobs...All SCAMS! I got sick and tired of being cheated out of
money and found out that I was not alone! There were other moms out there
that were going through the same thing. Everytime someone would post a
company on a message board, I would do research and post the results. I
found that I loved doing research and I felt good about helping other moms
avoid falling victim to scams. That was my passion, my calling so to
speak....but, I still needed to find a way to earn an income online

.....and thus Wahmoms.net was born. out of that desire to help the
growing number of moms who like me were saying No to the traditional
workforce, to stay at home and raise their children while still wanting
and needing to contribute to the family's finances.

This website is dedicated to helping moms work at home, be their own boss
and most importantly be home with their children. Providing home business
information, work at home job resources, articles, ideas, classified ads,
message boards and more. I support moms who work at home by offering
advertising for their home business opportunities, products and/or
services.

I love being a work at home mom and I love what I do... helping moms find
the work at home job they dream of!"

Work-At-Home-Mom Stories...

I came up with the idea last night of doing a weekly work at home mom story here on my blog. I'd like to feature one work at home mom each week and tell her story to the world. There are so many WAHM resource sites on the web today...

Lately I have noticed that there are several new wahm sites being created every single day. I am glad that more and more Moms are able to stay at home and make money from home. I am also glad that so many Moms want to help other Moms by providing these resource sites.
I also own a WAHM resource site, www.HomeJobsForMoms.biz. I plan on adding so many new free resources for work at home moms in the next month. HJFM has been neglected lately due to my other responsibilities ( my other site & my family)and I hope to get it together and get some work done!

Our 3yr.old likes Sugarcult...

About 2 months ago, our 3yr.old son kept asking me to put on this song that says "Get Back, Get Back"...and that's about all he said. He was persistant about me finding the song so he could dance to it. He likes to dance and run around with a football helmet on. So,I sung the words over and over in my head until I could match it to a song I had heard then I finally knew the song he was talking about. He likes "Memory" by Sugarcult.

Now what I want to know is...Are there any other Moms out there that have children who like this song? Do your kids like weird songs? Do you let your children listen to this type of music? Should he be listening to children's music instead?

Our 3 yr, old son seems to like alternative/rock music such as Sugarcult, Linkin Park, Hoobastank, Three Days Grace, Modest Mouse and so on...You get the picture? He says this is "Fast Daddy Music" in such a cute way!

I am just really happy that he loves music!

Baby Modeling...

While I was updating my site today, I decided to create a resource page about baby and child modeling. I am sure many parents out there are wondering about how to get their babies and children into the modeling industry. Well, as I was searching for resources to put on my page, I found that there really werent many free resources available for those looking for the resources. Most, if not all, of the sites were asking viewers to purchase a list of directors, agencies, etc...

If anyone out there has any resources they would like to share with me, I would love to have them-if they are free, of course!

How many Moms watch Big Brother 5?

I have been watching Big Brother since it's beginning and now I am watching Big Brother 5. What I want to know is how many other Moms out there watch Big Brother? Or do you even have time to sit down and watch reality tv? I have always been a fan of reality tv so I find time to watch it.

BB5 Updates: So, Scott is gone...Who is going to go next? I don't know who I want voted out...maybe Jase or Diane? I want Will to win the game. A Switch From B2 to Blogger

So, I finally decided to switch from using the B2 blog to Blogger. Blogger is so much easier to use. Now I can get things done faster!
