Being in "NOW!"
I was getting the babies to sleep tonight and all I could think of was getting older and them getting older. I don't like that thought. I don't ever want them to be in this world without me but it is inevitable. It will happen someday when I get old and grey...Thinking of this makes me want to cry. I will always think of these 2 little boys as my babies even when they are old.
Do you ever think about what life will be like when you get older or when your kids get older? I mean ALOT older...I wonder what this world will be like in 2055 when my youngest will be 50. If I'm lucky I may still be alive and be 78 years old. I hope so! I want to experience as much as I can with my children since my experiences with them is what my life is all about...and I dont want it any other way.
I always feel like my life is one big rush. I rush to get things done. I am always saying, I'll "play" later or I'll do "that" later. But the whole essence of our lives is NOW! What we are and do NOW is our life and we should be happy NOW!
I am not saying that I am unhappy because I am not-I am very happy with my life and kids. I am just saying that sometimes I forget how important it is to be in the "NOW" because other parts of life (work, obligations, cleaning,etc.) always gets in the way. We need to cherish every little moment. Life is so precious...
