Thoughts about getting comments:
First, you have to have people visiting your site. I see that you are on BlogAzoo, which is how I found your site, so half the battle is won.
Then, you need to have something that people will comment about. To the extent that you are recounting your days, that isn't likely to get a comment, unless you say something incredibly well, and even then, your not likely to get much for comments. However, if you have a question that people can respond to, even if it is something like, "Am I really that boring?" then people will respond.
One final thought. How many comments do you leave on other peoples blogs? I ask this for two reasons. First, many people expect to get a lot of comments, but when they think about how many they leave, they realize that there just aren't all that many comments out there. Secondly, by leaving comments on other peoples blogs, you are implicitly encouraging them to come and leave comments on your blog.
