My 4 year old caught a frog! What to do!
Our 4 year old just found a frog on our porch. He said it was his friend and wanted to keep it so I gave him a salsa jar to put it in. (We poked holes in the top so the frog could breathe). He named the frog Frogger. Wow! What a surprise! A few minutes later he said the frog was missing his Mommy and Daddy so he wanted to let it go. So in a little while we will be taking a walk up to the lake to let the frog go ( so it will hopefully be reunited with its Mommy & Daddy). Our 4 year old boy was being empathetic! I'm so happy! I hope it continues on to other things...
Here are some photos to enjoy.

What a great ending to the story.. That sense of empathy developing must be so exciting.. To keep it going here is a great organisation for stewardship toward animals: http://www.petakids.com/
Love the blog (and it's sister sites), your boys seem really cool!
oooh YAY! I love frogs and toads myself ;)
