Upcoming 1st Birthday-Madagascar!
My son's birthday is next Monday June 27th, 2005. He will be 1 year old. It's so hard to believe. This year has went by so quickly. We are having a party for him on Sunday. We are having a Madagascar theme. I thought all the little jungle animals were cute and instead of party hats we are having party lion faces! They are so cute! I'll post photos after the party.

Is that movie any good? We haven't seen it yet, but we've heard good things from friends..
Actually we haven't seen the movie yet either. I saw the party decorations and thought they were cute so that's what we chose! Our 1 yr old doesnt really watch tv yet. He got a teletubbies DVD and baby sign language DVD for his birthday. Hopefully he will have an interest in them.
I think it's great your kids don't watch t.v yet. Apparently it's really bad for their development to watch it before 3 years of age, because it permanently affects brain patterns.
Eabha doesn't watch T.V either, I was wondering about the movie for us. :)
What was the name of that sign-language dvd?
Our older child started watching tv as a baby. At that time, we werent informed about the potential harm of tv watching. He is now 4. I dont think it had any ill effects on him except that he wants to watch it constantly and he maybe was exposed to some not so good things. It could be too soon to decide as well. Later on down the wrong if there is a problem, I dont think I will be able to pinpoint it to the tv however... :)
awww! Happy belated birthday cutie! My son turned one in May and I too can't believe how fast the year went!
