HOT MOM

I was found over 100 times this month with the keyword "Hot Mom". Little did I know that I was on page number 2 of google for the keyword of "Hot Mom". I dont think I meant my keywords to mean what others were searching for but apparently it's a hot topic/search phrase...LOL!
Who looks up Hot Mom? Are Moms that Hot? Well, I know Moms are more than just Moms and there are lots of beautiful moms out there who I guess are Hot too if you want to say it that WAY! Now I am wondering if I am a HOT MOM...lol....I dont think I should have even asked that question...but I know my husband thinks so...

Anyway, this search has given me an idea...I need to start working on it...

Being in "NOW!"

I was getting the babies to sleep tonight and all I could think of was getting older and them getting older. I don't like that thought. I don't ever want them to be in this world without me but it is inevitable. It will happen someday when I get old and grey...Thinking of this makes me want to cry. I will always think of these 2 little boys as my babies even when they are old.

Do you ever think about what life will be like when you get older or when your kids get older? I mean ALOT older...I wonder what this world will be like in 2055 when my youngest will be 50. If I'm lucky I may still be alive and be 78 years old. I hope so! I want to experience as much as I can with my children since my experiences with them is what my life is all about...and I dont want it any other way.

I always feel like my life is one big rush. I rush to get things done. I am always saying, I'll "play" later or I'll do "that" later. But the whole essence of our lives is NOW! What we are and do NOW is our life and we should be happy NOW!

I am not saying that I am unhappy because I am not-I am very happy with my life and kids. I am just saying that sometimes I forget how important it is to be in the "NOW" because other parts of life (work, obligations, cleaning,etc.) always gets in the way. We need to cherish every little moment. Life is so precious...

I recently came across a cool new site that is a blogging community for babies. BlogForBaby offers free blogs for individuals and their family's to use for keeping track of the daily changes your baby, toddler and teen go through. Why the name change?

I've been trying to think of a cool name for my blog to go along with who I am.. This is probably the 4th or 5th time I have changed my blog name. I wasnt satisfied with the previous blog name titles. I guess I'll stick with this name. Maybe.

Why so many Mom Bloggers?

I didnt realize there were so many more mom bloggers out there...Now I feel more comfortable in blogging! However, I still wonder why I blog... I can't write(meaning I'm not that great of a writer and I'm boring! So why do I blog? I don't know!!!! I just do! Is it for business? No! Actually this blog should be disconnected from any business(s) I run online... but, umm, they are not...

I just want to know this..Who's reading mom blogs? Are mom blogs that fascinating? Is the life of a mom in general fascinating? Why the sudden popularity?

Edited to Add: I wrote the above post over 2 and a half years ago ( in Jan '05) on a whim when the explosion of mommy blogs were just beginning! Now moms are blogging everywhere, everyday and we are a force to be reckoned with! POWER TO THE MOMMY BLOGGERS EVERYWHERE! ;) Now I know why I blog..for friendship, connections, to be heard, and so much more!

Toddler Not Sharing-Momma Needs Help...

Our 3 year old,Gage, is keeping us very nervous these days...Our 6 1/2 month old,Greyson, is beginning to crawl around and get into things and Gage is reprimanding his every move. He is being very bossy and not sharing anything. Gage normally does not act like this...Do any of you moms or dads out there in the blogging world have any tips or insight? Jarrod and I are about to go crazy...

Moving Tips For Moms...

We finally moved again and we will be here at this university for about 2 years...These past few weeks have really been hectic for us.

We are in a new area...about 2 hours away from what we call home. We now live a lot closer to my parents and my sisters but now we are further away from my husband's parents & all of his family.

Moving Tips For Moms:
Here are some tips about moving with kids...

1.) Make sure you bring along a few toys in the car that are already unpacked
2.) Make sure you bring extra snacks and water
3.) Do not pack the DVD player and movies...Keep them close by...
4.) Be prepared to go insane while you are cleaning, unpacking, etc with a toddler and a baby...
5.) Now have some fun while moving...

Mom's New Year Resolutions 2005

Happy New Year everyone!

Here are a few of my resolutions for 2005:

1.) Spend more quality time with my family!
I am a stay at home mom and I spend everyday with my children but a lot of that time is not quality time. I want to take more time to listen to them, play with them, and really enjoy my time with them! I want to go out more with my husband. We need to go on a date! We havent done that in a while. I want to spend more time with my sisters!
2.) Make more Money from home!
I want to become more serious about my home businesses and make more money. My husband decided to quit his full time job and go back to college to get his Master's Degree and PHD in computers. He starts classes in January so we will be living on my income. He is also looking into launching some websites. Wish us good luck!
3.) I need to exercise more and start eating healthy!
I am not getting any younger so I really need to start exercising more regularly and eat healthier foods!. I tend to eat lots of junk food...Ice cream, potato chips, Mcdonalds,etc... I love all kinds of food but lately I eat what is quickest to cook or eat out! I don't need to lose weight ( Im 4 foot 10 and 90LBS) so I am not dieting...just need to make healthier choices!
