What's more nerve wrecking than...

an 8 month old who is teething and trying to walk at the same time, a 4 year old who is sick with a cold and has reverted back to acting like a 1 year old, and a 28 year old who is constantly needing my help...

I dont know...but please send someone to help me... I need to get some work done.

Valentines Day Lunch

My husband and I dont really do anything special for Valentine's day since it's such an over-rated holiday...We know we love each other and we don't need a holiday to express that. We do it everyday!

Anyway, we took the kids out for a Valentine's lunch which went fine except for we didnt get part of our order, we accidently sat in the smoking section, and our 3 year old was going wild because the restaurant was out of crayons and coloring pages and we told him he would get one...so much for that...

So here is how I got back at the situation..I pretended to forget about leaving a tip and I took extra free suckers. Well, how can I take extra of something that was already free? (Oh, I know, I'm so daring.lol)

Moms Really ARE Considered HOT these days...

I had posted a blog entry earlier this month about "Hot Moms" and apparently it's true. Mom's are now considered Hot. Being a Mom is trendy and especially if you are a Hot Mom.

You can read all about Hot Moms in the USA Today and in the Chicago Tribune from this past week.

I think it's great that Moms are being recognized for what they really are. I'm not the June Cleaver type nor the Soccer Mom type and I think it's important for people to know it's okay to diverge from that so-called norm.

We can be Hot and be good mothers all at the same time!

A Toddler's Guide to Getting RICH...

Today our 3 year old was talking to his baby brother. Out of nowhere he said,"One two three...One hundred...yay, we're rich"! I was confused so I asked him what he thought "Rich" meant and he said, "Counting to One Hundred". Wow! Wouldn't that be nice? I'd like to get rich just by counting to One Hundred. I'd count all day long...well, that's my funny thing for the day...Kids are so amazing!

Okay, so I rarely get comments on my blog...Am I really that boring? LOL

Magnet Football and Toddler?

After dinner today, our 3 year old started playing with the magnets on the refrigerator. He was playing a game of what he calls "magnet football". Here is how the games goes. He takes all the magnets off the refrigerator then names them and gives them numbers. Then he proceeds to crash them into each other saying Go Team!, Touch Down!, etc...Anyway, It's too cute and actually creative...

Well, he started getting really loud while crashing and tackling the magnets and I told him to be a little more quiet and to not yell. For a few minutes he listened. Then he started yelling again.

Again, I told him to be quiet and this is what he said to me, "I'm NOT yelling, the magnets are yelling!" then he went back to his game...

He never ceases to amaze me. He's always making me laugh. I'm so glad to be a parent...What would my days be like without things like this?
