Peep Pink Men

My entire household is wearing pink for Easter. The thing is, I'm the only girl in this household. The other three are males- my hubby, son 1 and son 2. They are all wearing matching pink shirts which remind me of pink peeps. I originally thought I would not like a guy in pink but when it comes to my 2 little men and my one big man matching in pink shirts...it's too cute and adorable to resist. Plus there is this one person in the family (who will be at the Easter get-together this week) who said something along the lines of the whole world going to hell and what is this world coming to since men started wearing pink. From then on I felt like I had to dress my men up in pink. Do I love controversy or what? Nah, it's fun though...

I'm going to be sporting a pink shirt too... I have yet to find either capris or a likeable skirt to match this shirt so I'll be going on another shopping trip tommorow.

For those of you interested, I will be taking photos and posting photos for this pink event...

Happy early Easter to all of you...

Here's a question for you though, Do you like men in pink?

My Kodak DX6490 Digital Camera Photo Samples

I got a new digital camera yesterday. I got a Kodak DX6490. I am currently learning how to use it. I have researched digital cameras for a couple of months now and I saw this one and thought I'd give it a try. It looked better than the Fuji Finepix that I was planning on purchasing. This camera also has a professional quality Schneider KREUZNACH Variogon lens with a 10x optical zoom.

You will be seeing more photos in this blog now that I have a newer higher quality digital camera.

Here is my first masterpiece (not really)

Is Cleaning a form of Anger Management?

Normally I am a very happy person and I am rarely angry but today I got angry and I have resorted to cleaning. Is this normal?

I actually got a lot done while being angry. My house is cleaner, it smells better now and there is no longer two piles of clothes laying around in my bedroom.

Do you tend to clean or work more when you get angry or upset over someone or something? If you do then why do you think you do this...

Whipped Silk...

Ok, so I bet you had no idea what I was going to talk about with that entry...

Anyway, one good thing (well, there's more than 1 but I thought this was fun to mention) about spending time at my parents is that you get a mini spa treatment when you take a bath or shower at their house. You get to choose from tons of different soaps, body washes, and shampoos with names like Whipped Silk, Aroma Steam, and Nourishing Jasmine... I actually have soft and silky legs for about a day. At my house you get "It's cheap and if you don't use it you will stink" Soap & Shampoo.

and that concludes my blog entry for the time being...

My Dish Washer is Mentally Challenged

I try to keep things interesting in my blog so I decided to post about my dish washer. It's dumb and it's evil. I have repeatedly washed one spoon and it just wont come clean. This was the spoon's third time around in the dish washer and the noodle is still stuck on it. Why doesnt my dish washer work like the one in the commercial? The lady in the commercial puts a whole cake in the dish washer and the plate comes out completely clean. I'm just trying to wash off one tiny itty bitty noodle. My dish washer doesnt like me.

Dreams of an Artist Shattered...

My 4 year old got a create your own plate set as a gift. So we decided to sit down and create his plate. He painted his plate lots of different colors and we stenciled in a heart, an apple, and a pear. Then I wrote in his name ( which was not in very good handwriting, I might add). I learned one thing from this experience. I learned that my child is not an artist. He will never be an artist. We will be lucky if he ever grasps the concept of coloring inside the lines. Right now he just doesnt get it. Maybe he is too young for this right now. I wonder if he got his artistic abilities from me or his daddy?
