Cell Phones

We have had the same cell phone for 2 years and lately it had been acting "weird". I don't know another word to describe how it was acting. I guess you could say it was getting ready to croak because the other night as we were traveling out of state, our cell phone just died. Half of the buttons stopped working and we couldn't call anyone. The cell phone death was either due to 1.) Hubby talking on it while in the shower or 2.) Baby Man dropped it. Neither of these actions are good!

Anyway, we have been without a cell phone for a few days and we feel disconnected. We feel like we have no connection to the outside world. We have got to go get a new one very soon. I'm not sure how much longer I can live without one. I don't remember how it was without a cell phone. Do you?

Do you have a cell phone? Any recommendations on a new model? (We use cingular).

Probably with Cingular, if you are on their plan you can get a free replacement phone! Call them and see.

We're with Verizon and we get new phones every two years and they are really nice!! My husband and I both have one and two of our daughters have one as well. Great pricing plans...a little over $100/month for all phones which include unlimited text/pix messaging. Comes in handy when you need to communicate with your kids while they are in school. And I always send my husband goofy pictures while he's at work. :D We couldn't live without our phones. We would feel disconnected....just like you do.

I have verizon. I don't like them, but I don't get very good service near my house and it kind of defeats the purpose

We love our Verizon phones. We now only have cell phones and no home phone. They have worked great for us. I do wish though that they were a little cheaper. It is very hard to remember times without cell phones. I got my first one when I was 16, so I really grew up with one.
