Crab Rangoon Gone Wrong...
My Attempt at making Chinese Food…
Ok, so everyone that knows me knows that my family and I LOVE Chinese food and we frequent Chinese places.
Anyway, I attempted to make my family some yummy (Americanized) Chinese food for dinner yesterday. I attempted to make a vegetable stir-fry, chicken, baked crab rangoon, and some crabmeat thing that my husband likes. Well everything turned out ok except the crab rangoon which, by the way, is my 5 year old’s favorite part of a Chinese meal. While he was eating my attempt at crab rangoon, he turned to me and said, “Mom, can you not make Chinese anymore? Let’s just go to the restaurant from now on”.
I think the crab rangoon would have turned out perfect had I fried them in grease like the restaurant does but I wanted to make them healthier so I baked them and made them according to a recipe I found online. I told the 5 year old this and he said, “Well, I like the grease”.
Ok, so now that I have revealed to everyone on how horrible of a cook I really am, please feel free to share something that you do horribly. You are horrible at SOMETHING aren’t you?
As for today, I don't know what I am making for dinner but it will be something easy and previously tested by the family.

I am horrible at sewing. When the kids rip their favorite stuffed animal at the seams and ask me to stitch it up, i avoid it like the plague. I am the WORST! Sheesh, it will just come apart again in a few days!
Math! Need I say more?
hehe I am horrible at cooking too! I keep trying though!
chelle
Precious! I like the grease, too!
I had a REALLY horrible baking attempt gone wrong on christmas eve. I wanted to make these Italian pastry thingies called honey balls and bring them over to my mom's. Well, I never bothered to ask my grandma to show me how. So, I called her, and needless to say, an old school italian woman NEVER measures things- so I basically was told "add some flour, add some water" etc. Well, I burnt them, melted a plastic spoon, and the apartment STUNK.
I'm usually not that bad at baking, but man was that horrible.
There are a ton of things i am horrible with, nut here are my top 3:
1. Math and numbers
2. Writing
3. WRAPPING GIFTS!!!!
