It's All About the Vomit!

My 21 month old son has been throwing up after almost every meal since he was around 13 months old. Consequently, this was around the same time that I stopped breastfeeding him and started him on table foods.
To make a really long story short, our child’s doctor said it was because he was lactose intolerant or that he ate too much. So he suggested cutting out all dairy foods for a while and giving him several small meals throughout the day. Well we did that and the vomiting didn’t stop but it wasn’t as bad either. For a while, our son only vomited around once or twice per week but lately the vomiting has come back full force. He throws up around 2 times per day now and it is always directly after eating. Otherwise, he is a healthy active toddler that talks & screams constantly.
We are planning on taking him to another doctor for a second opinion since he does not overeat. He also doesn’t drink milk and rarely eats cheese so I know it’s not the lactose intolerance making him sick. I just want my baby man to be able to eat without throwing it all back up within 5 minutes.
Has anyone else experienced this with their baby?

I haven't and don't know anyone that has gone thru it. I really hope things get better and I think it's wise to get the second opinion. Hope you figure it out and let us know in case anyone ever has this problem.
Aww poor kiddo. A second opinion is a very good idea!
aww poor kid...that must be very frustrating for everyone! Good luck!
My little guy did that because of reflux but once he started on Zantac, it went away. I will be saying a prayer for you because even if it is just something simple, it worries a mom to death. Let me know how it goes.
WOW! poor guy.... I don't have any experience with any quite like this. I hope you get it figured out.
Man, that stinks! I would definitely get another opinion on that stuff. I know that has to be a terrible thing. Good luck and hope to hear better things soon for him.
That sucks. I haven't had this experience but I would definetly be finding some answers.
Poor little guy!
I agree with Grumpy Mom, it could be acid reflux. I have several friends who's baby have that problem. Good luck with your second opinion. I hope it's nothing serious.
Thanks for visiting my blog, petite mom. I'll blog roll you too.
Definitely get a second opinion. My daugher had the worst rash on her face for months and months and months...And we went to an allergist (you may want to try that) and they told us to go off all milk products (which is almost impossible.)
Maybe go to an allergist....
Thanks for all your advice and concern.
sounds like reflux to me too. especially if it's right after he eats. same thing happened to my little girl as well as one of my friends.
