On snapping photos!
I took 86 photos in less than 2 hours today while playing outside with my two boys. I spent more time snapping photos than actually playing. Do you do this? Do you feel like you need to keep on snapping until you get a picture that really makes you remember that moment? Or am I just hopelessly addicted to taking photos? One would think that since I loved taking photos so much that I'd be A.) using a better camera preferably something like this and B.) reasonably good at it.
Um, not really...
This is my favorite one from today.

You can view the rest on my flickr account later.

First, thanks for commenting on my site!
Second, we have the Nikon D50 and I'm still not "good" at taking photos, so I take a quite a few just to get the right shot. The photo in my header was one of 10, which was a reasonable amount although I was running out of battery power and didn't want the little guy to fall off while I was taking pictures of him. Makes for a bad mommy moment. Usually I can take 50-100 shots without blinking an eye, of course I can't say the same for my subjects : )
Third, that is a great picture of your son. He is adorable! As a matter of fact, all of your photos are great. I think you may be underestimating your ability.
lol! I never claim to be good at taking photos, however I love taking pictures of our daughter and try to do so every day!
Love that pic!
I'm going to go ahead and second what Crissy said. You take great pics - I don't have any pics that are anywhere near as great as yours...and...they're 35mm....*gasp*...yes, we have now ventured into the digital age (actually did a few years ago)...have I done anything as cool as this??? Nope. Keep on taking your pics, we all love them!!
PS - I would like to have the D50 as well...I'm drooling a little just thinking about it...
I just love taking pictures too. Yes, you just want to capture the right moment.
That is a great one!
That is a great picture! I agree with everyone else that your pictures are great.
Hi Amanda! That is a gorgeous picture!!!
Definitely days like that are the best! and I too an a little of both addicted to taking pictures and snap a bunch of shots to capture the moment. :)
Talk soon! :)
I am a certified photo taking addict. If I bring out the camera I usually take 50+ pictures at a time. I want that perfect picture.
I LOVE that picture!
lol, I do that Amanda!
I take picture after picture until I think I've got just the right one. I have 112 pictures on my camera right now and that's only 3 days worth.
That picture is absolutely precious by the way! :)
