My 4 yr old loves coffee! He gets it about once every 2 weeks when my parents visit. We don't drink coffee but they do. My bad mommy thing is pop. I have always allowed them to have 1 cup a day. But, I recently cut it out in the last week. Why? My daughter was having kidney pain.
If my toddler won't go to sleep I let her watch TV for hours in hre playpen while I sleep. I'm awful.
LOL I give Coffee to P. He makes this weird face but always wants more. My bad mommy thing is when P screams and cries for food i always give him something:(
Oh yeah and me being on the computer too much.
Sometimes my 5 year old will sleep in the same clothes she had on all day then get up and keep those same clothes on all day again.
My youngest LOVED to drink my white wine when he was a baby!
Actually, I drank coffee all the time as a toddler. I would steal sips from my grandmother's cup.
My bad mommy thing? I let Cordy eat fast food WAY too much. That kid is already addicted to McDonald's.
I let J sit in her poopy diaper for a little while before I change her. I'm hoping she'll get grossed out or something because she's 3 and has zero interest in the potty. So far she could care less how long she sits in shit.
My kids LOVE coffee, we DO live in Seattle and I DO work for Starbucks!
I have given my toddler soda. I draw the line at caffinated drinks because I don't want him bouncing off the walls. I have also forgotten to brush his teeth for a whole day. The next morning he has awful breath so then I really remember to do it right away.
Cookies- she loves the gerber ones- but she gets frosted pink princess cookies sometimes. LOL. I also let her have some of my soda very very rarely- too much makes her C-RAZY! LOL.
Last week I had to run one of my teens and his friend to the movie theater. I left without a worry. On the way to a second (unneccesary errand) I realized that I had left my two little girls 5 and 7 at home alone. I thought my oldest had come home from work, but alas, she had not and I won the bad mommy award for that day!
Thankfully the two girls did not even know they were alone. They were happily playing together. Everyone just assumes that one of the three teens is in the house. Not this time.
The TV is my babysitter and I encourage Sony play. I hate it, feel guilty, but when I have got to get a million things done and I can't trust anyone to watch my kids because of their being too many pedophiles lurking in wait, I do the best I can. I pedophile would damage my kids much more than tv and sony...
Im pretty free with TV time at my house. Thats my bad mommy momment. I don't allow TV's in their rooms, but if they want to watch something, as long as its not violent or rated R, I'm cool with it.
Too funny! I have two I'll share. One, I don't change Justice so often, he probably gets changed 5x a day. I feel his diaper and as long as it is not too bulky I don't fiddle with it, those diapers are pretty absorbant anyway. He watches TV too some, a no no with the recommendations for no TV until 2, how realistic is that anyhow. It is very limited, but there nonetheless. Funny thing is mostly he watches whatever I am watching including TLC, the Today Show, etc. Thanks for stopping by today. I think Ron and I are going to the Lake for the day while gradmama keeps the little guy for our 4th anniversary. Adorable pic by the way!
I have a few bad mommy things.
I allow my 2 1/2 year old watch Dora & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse over & over & over again. Tivo is the greatest invention ever! I do often feel guilty for allowing her to watch too much TV, but sometimes its the only for me to have some free mommytime.
My daughter still gets a sippy cup of milk at bed & a pacifier. - the dentist will have a field day with that one!
