Haunted By A Dream

I'm sure we've all woken up from a bad dream and it lingers for a bit but today mine is sticking with me. For some reason I can't shake the feeling and emotional pain from the dream. I've had a few of these type of dreams lately. I don't know what it means but that dream is haunting me.

Well, actually I think I do know what it means. It's probably because I've been watching so many scary movies lately combined with lots of junk food. And, the sad part is that these movies really haven't been scary. They've just been BAAAAADDDDD. Seriously. They are lame. Who comes up with this crap? I have found myself actually laughing in the last 2 supposedly scary movies that I have watched.

And you know what? It's October! Which means I'm going to be subjected to a whole month's worth of bad scary movies. Well, no ones going to be holding a gun to my head forcing me to watch but chances are that I'm going to curl up on the couch once the kids are in the bed and watch them anyway. Are you?

Why can't they make movies like The Shining anymore? How about the original Halloween? Now that was scary. What's your favorite scary movie? Any recommendations on what I should watch?

try The Ring, it gave me bad dreams for quite a while. I can't watch scary movies anymore, not if I value my sleep.

I totally understand what you are saying. They think that to make them scary they have to show gallons of blood, appendages flying through the air, or teens having sex. I hate the scary movies that are out now. As you know Halloween terrifies me. Just the music scares me to death! I loved The Shining. I'm a sucker for the older scary movies. They aren't very scary, I just like them lol. If I see any that are scary, I will let you know.

The Ring scared the poop out of me.

Gives The Shining a real run for it's money.

The Ring really scared me, too. I slept with the lights on for about a week - seriously.

Before Julia was born, we used to turn on bad scary movies, watch them without sound and add our own dialogue for fun.

I loved Saw. It isn't as much as a scary movie as a thriller/whodunnit.
I loved the first and the second one!
