What Are We Going To Do With All of These Toys?

Both of our children get way too many gifts for their birthdays and Christmases and just other random days. Most of their toys come from their grandparents. We've kept almost everything except toys that have fallen apart and baby toys. We have toys in the yard, toys in our storage room outside, toys in their shared bedroom, and toys piled high in their toyroom. Please help we are drowning in toys here!
A couple months ago I went through and got rid of another bag of old toys that the boys don't use BUT we still have a toy overflow problem! We really need to figure out some kind of organization here. Tips? Ideas? I guess buying a few more storage bins and an extra toy box is in order but I don't think that will make a major difference.
I thought about only buying small toys and books for xmas gifts but that ain't happening! Our oldest saw this huge light up race track that he wants and that is all he is talking about and our youngest always talks about slides so one of these or one of the these is possibly being brought by Santa and it will have to stay IN THIS HOUSE for a few months until the warm weather returns! Yikes! So, you see, I do really need help. Where are these things going to fit? What should I do? And, please tell me that your home is full of toys too and that your house is being overtaken by toys like mine? :)

I am asking Becca to give some of her toys to less fortunate kids this Christmas. I want her to get how lucky she is to have so much. It will not help a lot but then the boys learn about charity too?!?!
I love for bins and decorative boxes for storage. Her toys have taken over my book shelves and there is still way too many!
Julia has tons of toys, too. I bought some cloth drawstring sacks and started putting the smaller toys in them. I'll keep some of them in the closet, attic or basement. Then, I rotate the bags I keep out for her to play with. We are still overwhelmed by toys (especially the ones that are too big to put in a sack), but it helps. And each time I bring out a sack of toys that's been packed away, it's like she's rediscovering them.
donate...donate...donate! there's got to be an outreach or doctors offices, childrens hospital, or children and youth, (division of youth and family services) who would be happy to take the toys and have them for kids who might need or want them.
or you could have a yard sale, and if you seriously have that many toys, then hand out shopping bags and tell people for $5.00 they can fill a bag. good luck!
that is one problem I can't have, we live in a small two bedroom apartment. So to make sure we don't drown in toys, two or three times a year I sit in the middle of my girls room and get rid of anything that is broken and anything that has missing parts. For christmas we are getting our oldest something quite large, so I told her that if she wants something big she has to get rid of the stuff she doesn't play with and keep her room clean till christmas, so far it's working.
