For The Love of Chalkboards...

My 2 year old son seems quite obsessed with chalkboards lately and just about anything else that one can draw with. I've been drawing at his request for hours upon hours for the past week or so. If he finds a book then I have to draw every picture in it. It really is the cutest thing even if I do have to sit for hours and just draw with him. It's actually great one on one bonding time with him.
We have a big stand up chalkboard and smaller one that he can just carry around. It usually starts with him dragging the chalkboard to me then him saying, "Sit!". He then sits in my lap while I draw and he erases. He loves doing all the erasing so maybe he loves the eraser more than he loves the drawing.
He also loves the aquadoodle that we got our older son a couple of years ago and of course he loves all things that draw like crayons and markers. I found him drawing on our house door yesterday with a RED marker. Yep, that one was fun to clean up... It looks like he is going to be a regular picasso or something like that...

He is the cutest little boy. He has the sweetest smile and that hair! It's adorable!
It sounds like you have a budding artist on your hands.
That is awesome. I strive to provide as many creative outlets for Becca as possible, but she does not have the passion you are describing! How fun!
I agree with Leslie; what a great photo! It looks like he's got your chin as well as your heart ;)

I was thinking about getting my daughter an aquadoodle since she loves the magnadoodle so much.
He is so CUTE!
My son loved the chalk board and magnadoodle at that age too.
Thank goodness for Washable Markers. Your son is adorable. He does have a very sweet smile.
I'm glad I stopped by, I ordered the Free Celestial Seasonings Herbal Expedition Kit. Thanks for sharing.
You should post some of his masterpieces...I find in this a captivating timeless treasure!
Watching them create art is great... especially when you are creative... 1 of mine is very creative (just like Mommy) and it is like looking in a mirror..
