I Want To Be A Runner...
I'm probably smaller than most people. However, you can be skinny and out of shape which basically means I'm unhealthy and the fat is probably stored up inside my arteries instead of on the outside. That doesn't sound too good does it? I haven't really exercised/worked out regularly in over 3+ years. I guess because I've always been skinny and for me, the weight just evaporated after I had my two children. I didnt have to work at it. But now as I'm heading into my 30s I feel like I need to get healthier. I can tell I'm out of shape and my body is not tone. I look at myself in the mirror and see so many problem areas. I feel tired, sluggish, and cranky too.
Since it's the new year, I guess this is the best time to start. I want to start running atleast once a day preferrably early morning so I dont have to take my boys with me. I'd like to also add that I have never been a runner and have never even attempted it so this will be tough to get used to. I'm hoping that writing about it will motivate me and help me to stick to this resolution. Anyone care to join me in helping each other stick to a resolution/goal for the new year? It does not have to be a health related goal. It can be anything. I will write about my progress here atleast once per week and I will link to whoever else tracks their progress on their blogs atleast once per week.

That is an awesome idea! I started the Couch to 5k program last summer (then got pregnant!)
You should google it, it is a great program to start and is not totally discouraging.
I am just looking to have this baby not early so no other goals than that!
Good for you! I'm not that ambitious, partly because I know myself too well. I just want to rein in my lust for sweets that seems to peak every year at Christmas. Thank God I work from home. The workplace is the worst for that stuff!
Good luck :)
From someone who counts "walking to mailbox" as exercise...I'm gonna do it with you! Does a treadmill count, as long as I'm not eating Doritos while I run?
Enjoy your site...
