I'm Pretty Sure They Think We're Crazy

Last night I half-convinced my husband that our 6 year old son had rheumatic fever all because I looked down his throat with a flashlight and saw something white coupled with the fact that he had a rash a week ago, and some nosebleeds. Oh, and did I mention Google? Yes, add Google to the mix there and your child will have everything there is. Gosh, you can convince yourself and everyone around you that they have something!

So, this morning we took both boys to their pediatrician as per Google's suggestion. LOL. Seriously, though, they needed to be seen just to be on the safe side. They were both checked out and it turned out to be just bad seasonal allergies that comes around every year so we were given some zyrtec and nasonex for the oldest, and off we go or so we thought.

Here comes the part about the slide... There is a slide in the pediatrician's office that our 2 year old likes and he didn't want to leave the slide. Our 2 year old had a god-awful tantrum because we were ready to leave the Dr's office. The hubs had to carry him out kicking, screaming & shirtless in 50 degree weather.

And, I'm convinced that after that scene, the receptionist and Pediatrician thought we were absolutely crazy people who can't control their kids.

Please tell me your kid(s) act like this sometimes?

My youngest is not quite 2 and well she has acted like the terrible 2's have hit for almost a month. We went to a kids place on Spring Break and after being quite good the "Jekyll and Hyde" persona came out. I swear everyone in there was looking at me like TAKE THAT KID HOME!! LOL.

Oh yes. Julia has her moments. Last week at Jummpercize, she was so out of control, I nearly crawled out of the room apologizing.

I am sure they have seen worse. As long as you can keep them behaving during the exam, I don't really think they would be all that annoyed.

That's kind of a cute story. I have to say, my kids don't act like that at ALL.....that is if their dad was there.LOL. My older one never threw fits but my younger one...it's his way or no way. I am sure you have seen my posts about his tantrums. He WILL NOT sit up front in a cart at the store so I no longer go shopping. When I DO go he is screaming and kicking and climbs out of the cart. It's crazy. I only can go to the store with him if his dad goes with us. For some reason they listen to him!
