Poison Something...

So our son has been walking around for the past 2 days decorated in Calamine lotion. Somehow, somewhere he has gotten himself into some poison ivy or poison oak. At least that is what I presume right now simply because he has a HORRIBLE rash all over his face and now it's all over his hands.

Will we ever get a break? We just got over pure torture where the boys vomited and pooped all over everything for a WHOLE week. What's next? Lice? Probably since our 6 year old starts school in a couple of weeks. Well, school starts if and when the rash goes away. I'm sure the mention of that would thrill our son if we told him.

I will freak out if I end up with a rash. Right now the rest of us are fine including our 3 year old son. No signs of impending rashes and that is exactly what Google told us. We read on the Internet, of course, that poison ivy, oak or sumac does not spread to other people. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. How have we ever managed to live without Google? So, dear moms/parents/friends/whoever out their, do you Google your illnesses?

Shame - poor little man, I hope he recovers in time for school - I am sure he will love it once he gets there! Shannon also has just been covered in a rash and though I too usually google her illnesses this time I was led to believe she had hives... we got to school and found most of the kids were off sick with chicken pox!!! Ah the joys of kiddy germs!

Oh, I google everything.

Julia recently had an allergic reaction to something - the doctor can't say what - but it caused a rash. A head to toe, flaming red itchy scary rash. It was weird. She woke up with it one morning and two days later, it was gone. It drives me crazy that we don't know what caused it. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

I hope your boy feels better soon!

I google absolutely everything having to do with my two sons, or my wife, my dog, my lawn, et al. Kinda scary if you think about it.

Yes, of course we google it - we are always diagnosing ourselves with scary life threatening illnesses that end up being simple viruses. LOL Sometimes I think there is too much info. out there, but it does come in handy at other times.
