Kindergarten Beginnings Day #2
Sooo.... Future Bam's first day of kindergarten went very well. He loved it and said all he did was "play" and "have fun". Hearing this has sort of restored my faith in what kindergarten is really supposed to be. More on this as the year goes along.
This morning I took FB into his classroom and when I reached down to give him a kiss he sort of snubbed me. Wow, all grown up after one day. So I guess it's OK to starting crying now, huh?

Oh, I'm so glad it went well. Gosh, it doesn't take long, though, for the kids to realize their friends are much cooler than their parents. Just wait. Soon, her won't want you to walk him in. Then, he'll say, just drop me off here and I'll walk to the door. I can remember doing it to my mom.
Okay, I've officially decided. Julia is not allowed to grow up. I don't think I could take it!
I am so glad that it went well. It gives me hope that as I look forward (or maybe dread LOL) Princess starting Kindergarten in September.

Yesterday he looked like your little boy. Today he looks like your little school boy!!!! Too sweet. I am glad he is enjoying school!
This is such a bittersweet day for you I'm sure... I wish we could just stop time for a bit. Kids grow up too fast!
