My Own Slice Of Crazy

Most of us that blog on a regular basis and consider ourselves professional bloggers or online business owners keep track of our websites stats. Specifically, each month we review our stats to see how many visitors we had, where they came from and what keyword or keyword phrase brought them to us. I thought a fun(slightly-heck who am I kidding-completely narcisistic) twist would be to tell each of you 5 Google searches that I have done over the past week and have you join in. I guess we can call it my very own meme except that I'm sure somewhere someone has already done this...

Here are five of my latest Google searches. You just need to look in your google bar at the top or in your history. If you can't figure out how to do that then you can go by your memory of what you searched for.

My latest Google searches. Be warned, they are terribly boring searches. I'm on a new computer with no history...

pizza without trans fats ( Is that possible?)
petite jeans size 00 (yep, I need that size)
Hilton Atlanta Review ( thinking about staying there)
ayo technology lyrics (obsessed with the song)
aspartame and pregnancy (ingested this while pregnant 6 years ago)

Who wants to join me and reveal to the blogosphere your Google searches? You can leave it in the comments or you can blog about it on your own blog. Let me know if you do so I can read about it. If you link to me and do the meme I will add your blog entry right here. Shall we call it My Own Slice of Crazy meme?

Petite jeans size 00 - are you freaking kidding me?

Amanda, it would take, like, twenty of you to make one me! Ugh!

Okay, my Goggle searches:

1. definition sadist (I get sadism and masochism mixed up. But I'm not into either, I promise.)

2. caterpillar (I wanted to be sure I was spelling it right.)

3. poetry about falling leaves

4. knitting gifts expectant mother (One of my good friends who loves to knit just found out she's expecting! Yay!)

5. Suave commerical (I was looking for that one of the mom who starts out beautiful and gets more and more rundown. Yeah.)

LOL YOu are tiny! I could only wish to wear that size!

But you asked for our google searches, so here we go:

1. Carolyn Kepcher - I really like her and admire her goals and gumption in life.

2. Missouri Homeschool Laws - I wanted to make sure I had the hours and classes right that are required. :)

3. Video Converter Software - Yep, I even found what I was looking for and I was able to change my vidoes from my digital camera to youtube ready videos. LOL

4. Toxic Friendships - I just got rid of a toxic friend and I just keep reading and reading about it so I can be sure NOT to get another one. LOL

5. Top books right now - I was trying to figure out what book to read next. Sadly I did not figure out which book to read, so I grabbed one from the shelf.

6. Stock Exchange - Except not the one that deals with stocks and finances. I was looking for the free pictures that I can use in my articles. :)

7. Horse Slippers - Actually there were a ton of horse related ones (pajamas, bedding, etc.) because my daughter wants all that for Christmas and I wanted to find somewhere I could order it from. No luck yet.

8. Caring for a Question Mark Caterpillar - yes, there is such thing as a question mark caterpillar and we had about eight of them. My son wanted to know how to take care of them, so we looked online because the library was not very useful. LOL

There are dozens of others dealing with different movie trailers, movie theaters, different types of toys that I was comparison shopping on, etc. Interesting question and it was cool to see yours and leslie's!

Your first search sounds like you're on a health kick. You'll see from my searches that I am too. :)

1 - healthy recipes kids love
2 - jessica seinfield deceptively delicious recipes (saw her on oprah)
3 - trampoline safety (buying one for my kids for christams so i'm researching this.)
4 - halloween baby photo contests (for my blog)
5 - parenting a rebellious teenager (speaks for itself)

Your searches are all so benign. My site apparently brings out the crazies. I will have to pick 5 that I think are acceptable to put in your comments....
1. Does Western Pennsylvania suck?...I am from Western PA. I imagine its degree of suckitude depends on who you ask.
2. Is homeschooling okay?.....It is better than okay...it is supercool.
3. Butt fuzz....I promise I have no clue on this one. ::::Quickly and discretely checks butt:::
4. Getting hair dyed by cousin...Why someone would search this I do not know. What kind of advice were they expecting to find really? I say, if you are so unsure as to type it into google...then, no, you should not let your cousin dye your hair.
5. Pooing after every meal....Um...ooookaaaay then.

So there you go. I haven't done this on my blog in awhile...maybe I'll do that.

Mel, I was asking for searches that YOU have done NOT searches that sent visitors to your site. LOL. Those searches do bring out the crazies! Some of the stuff people search for coming to my sites is insane!

Geez, that's what I get for reading (and commenting) on blogs at three in the morning.
Then, um....yeah, I search for size 00 jeans too. :) Okay, then really...
1. leaning tower of pisa...we are doing a homeschool project
2. Albert Einstein...my son wanted me to make his hair look like his.
3. changing your joystick button on a psp...for my son, obviously.
4.enterprise rental cars....briefly considered driving back to CO with the kids. Briefly.
5. Miramar airshow.....we're taking the kids this weekend

wow, those fit much more nicely with the other comments now, don't they?
Perhaps I should be googling tips to improve reading comprehension.
