This Is What A WAHM's Home Looks Like
Working from home with kids at home during work hours usually results in this... Well, who am I kidding? -ALWAYS results in this. And, the mess you see in the photo is mild compared to most days.

Christmas isn't here yet(it's close -7 days!) but I've already started thinking about the New Year. Have you?Labels: WAHM, wahm life, work at home mom

I'm glad someone else's house looks as bad as mine. I still can't figure out how to keep it from happening.
Oh Amanda. If you think that looks bad, you should see my house most days! Yikes!
When you have little ones the only time the house is clean is when everyone is a sleep. I eventually learned not to worry about toys and such all over the rooms since they would be picked up by the end of the day.
I feel sorry for anyone who has little ones and a completely clean house. Those children do not play.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
My boys play all day long in the living room. They hate playing in their bedroom and toy room. ???
Most days it's much worse and you'd hate to see my kitchen. Dishes are usually piled to the ceiling b/c when I get extra time I play. Seriously.
Wow, your house looks pretty clean compared to mine during the day!
Mommasworld is right though, homes with small children that is completely clean usually does mean the kids don't play. Play like kids, that is.
Nice to meet ya!
I still see a lot of the carpet in that photo, so you really can't complain. :)
And as everyone's saying, a messy house is a fun house. My kids like playing in the living room/dining room all day too, rather then their own rooms.
Andrew, thanks the comment.
I should have taken the photo a few minutes later when it was really a mess. This was a few minutes after the 3 year old woke up. Normally it's much much worse but I try and keep part of it clean so that we don't fall and hurt ourselves during the day :)
I agree - a messy house is a fun house! Try telling that to my MIL.
Girl, if THAT wasn't what your house looked ilke during the day i would be worried. Seriously, kids play. :)
that's nothing compare to my living room once little man get's to it. he's a messy messy little boy!
looks about like my house, too. ;)i'm an anal neat freak and the mess drives me crazy but there isnt any winning when the kids are up. lol
