Snow And Our Kids

I posted an entry over at OurSmartBaby.com and I wanted to know your thoughts about kids eating snow in light of the recent research suggesting that snow contains bacteria. Are we too concerned? FYI: The boys and their daddy ate snow cream ( you know what that is, right?) last week.

Do You Let Your Kids Eat Snow?

I think the whole eating snow thing should be treated like anything else that has been going on for ages...moderation!!

We never have snow down here, but if we did, sure I'd let them eat some!

bJulia loves to eat snow. Then again...she loves eating boogers, too.

I don't see a problem. We don't do it often, though. I fondly remember getting gobs of snow and flavoring it as a kid. Lots of fun.

I ate snow when I was a kid. But that was - well, I'm 29 - a while ago. With all the polution now I'm not sure I would want my kids eating snow. I guess as long as its in moderation... Who really knows.

I just stumbled across your blog and wanted to say HI. I'll be back again. Stop by mine anytime.
