Snark Is Not My StrongSuit Nor Do I Want To Be known For It

*Edited to Add* I just deleted the post. NOT. WORTH. THE. HEADACHE.

I could go back and retract the post that I wrote 2 days ago but being the "big girl" that I am, I won't. I feel like it needs to remain where it is to remind me that even I am not perfect (imagine that).

Getting the negative comment that I did from my previous post also reiterated what I have long thought about blogging...and is one of the many reasons why I have went back and forth on personal blogging especially since we've moved back to a small town. The problem with blogging snippets of your life is that your thoughts are often misconstrued. They don't always come out the way you truly mean them, and they are always open to interpretation based on the other person's feelings. If I were posting anonymously it simply wouldn't matter what I wrote but in a small town where someone may simply not "get" blogging I guess ultimately it does matter. I wrote a little about this issue back in January

Obviously you can't be more blatant than I was in my last post. I was being general but at the same time I was being stereotypical. I knew that going in. Actually, my previous post stemmed from a few incidents that happened weeks ago. And, I purposely generalized my feelings so that no one would know who or what I was referring to. Obviously you and I both know that everyone is NOT like what I wrote. It was just a way for me to vent...a way for me to get my feelings out there. Because I can't say it in real life. Anyway, I am allowed to do that here. And, what I feel and write won't always please everyone.

If you've ever read past the first page of this blog you'd know that my last post was out of character. I'm not a bitch. I'm not a hater. I'm not holier than thou. I just blurted something out. We are all guilty of that.

Of course I did mention this one thing where I said I hope the ice cream man gets the swine flu. That of course was another attempt at snark and sarcasm...which apparently doesn't work in my favor. ;)

P.S. I heart my real neighbors but I think they know that already. ;)

P.S.S Despite my previous slip, I really do love my home. More importantly, I love that my children and my husband love our home, our community. I couldn't be happier. Who am I kidding? I could be happier if I lived on the beach and had a maid + a personal chef. ;) No one's going to argue with that one, right?

P.S.S.S Don't you just hate it when someone else is right? Thanks for pushing me off of my high horse. ;)

Yeah, that's the problem with blogging nonymously. I'm anonymous, but my entire extended family reads me blog--so I can't snark about my grandmother, for instance...or god help me! And having lived in a smaller town, I know where that last post was coming from--some days I appreciate that in the city almost no one knows my business or recognizes me because there are millions of us. There's privacy in masses. Other days, I miss those small town connections.

Those of us who've read & followed you on twitter know you're not really the snarky type. :)

I just keep thinking of that Dr. Seuss quote, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."

I always hate this part of blogging, sometimes you just forget your manners lol and vent.. But then of course as fate would have it someone will always catch you on it and make sure you know you were wrong. :( Sometimes you just wanna vent. Right or Wrong you just wanna flip out every once in a while. Big city or Small town it'll drive you nuts with the every day crap that comes along with it. So ya you probably said some things you shouldn't have but ya know what, oh well. This is your way to express yourself. And really if people don't like it than they shouldn't read it. The point of a personal blog is to write what you want. And while i don't suggest completely tearing someone a new one lol venting every once is a while is fine. So don't feel bad. Some days i couldn't imagine living anywhere else because this is where my family is other days i hate it. Because i'm a young stay at home mom and have no one to relate to. So i guess thats what brought me to blogging lol!! :) Anyway.. just my view on it.

Petite Mommy - you are one of the most "well-adjusted" women I know in this world -- and I know a lot of women!! You can't please everyone all of the time, and if you did, well then you would be the most boring person I know--And, we CANNOT have that!! LOL!! Happy, Fun Blogging from now go;)--HeatherA777

A common mistake of people writing blogs out there is forgetting to introduce your story or subject in the first paragraph. We don’t runescape money take enough time to explain the story or we just cover to much in four sentences. Keeping it simple and easy to understand will keep readers going, don’t tell the whole story. Start by introducing your topic with a few sentences. Now use different runescape gold ideas that explain or relate to the main topic, write 2 or 3 paragraphs in this area. You will wrap everything up in the last paragraph, concluding the topic

I just happened upon your blog. Very informative and unsnarky in general. Just have to say, everyone has the feelings you had at some point. Lucky for you, you seem to be a pretty level headed, nice chick who tends to respond well in those situations. I, on the other hand, am snarky (or other less nice words) and have no problem pointing out things that annoy me on my blog. I honestly wish I could do a better job of it in real life to. I try not to hurt people when I do it, but I know I piss a lot of people off. Oh well, they get over it:)

Oh boy, I missed this whole thing. I don't know why it seems like some people get harassed by meanies more than others. I think you're a totally unique and fun person!
