Be The Beat + American Heart Month 8GB iPod Nano Giveaway!

nano-red The month of February has been proclaimed American Heart Month in an effort to raise awareness about heart disease. In celebration of American Heart Month 2010, we are bringing you a very cool giveaway to do our part in empowering our readers, their families, and those with tweens/teens on the importance of acting fast when it comes to cardiac arrest.

We have teamed up with Be The Beat, the American Heart Association’s new cardiac arrest awareness campaign aimed at both pre-teens and teens. At Be The Beat, kids are encouraged to learn the basics of CPR through the use of videos, games, interactive quizzes and 100 beats-per-minute songs.
