Free Fun Santa Paper Plate Craft Idea
In most families, Santa is a big part of the holiday celebration so today we’ve decided to put together a post on fun Santa crafts ideas right here on Contest for Moms. These are generally cheap and easy holiday crafts, and so much fun for the kids. Yesterday my 4 year old son made a paper plate Santa craft with stuff we already had in our home. You will also probably have most of the items already lying around in your home but if you don’t then I’m sure you can come up with a few substitutions so that you won’t have to buy anything.
What You Need To Make Your Santa Paper Plate Craft:
paper plates
cotton balls
buttons preferably red, green, or black.
glue
googly eyes (if you don’t have googly eyes then you can just draw the eyes on)
red construction paper
markers or crayons
kids scissors
Once you have all your supplies together, then draw a simple outline of the Santa face on the paper plate. Then cut a triangle shape for a hat out of red construction paper. You can also find several free Santa Plate craft printable templates online to go by if you do not want to draw the outline on the plate.
Here is a photo of my 4 year old son’s finished product. He had so much fun doing this craft even if it doesn’t quite look like Santa Claus.
Your child’s finished product can be placed on the refrigerator, hung on their door and placed anywhere you choose. We also have some more Fun Santa Craft Ideas on a few of our older pages from a few years ago. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
