2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade TV Character LineUp!

Watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV is just as much of a Thanksgiving tradition for our family as is eating Turkey! Actually, when I was a child we used to eat our Thanksgiving dinner while the parade was on. I’ll never forget eating stuffing for breakfast! Since the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is only a few days away I wanted to share with you a few of the children’s character favorites that are going to be there.

Free Thanksgiving Turkey Coloring Printables

It’s turkey time which means it’s also craft time for the kids while you prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Here are some cute Turkey coloring pages to print our for your kids. We’ve put together some great links to where you can find all the Thanksgiving turkey printables you’d ever need.

1. On the Kaboose website you will find lots of turkeys, pilgrims, and more. It’s a great place for printables.Â In particular here is an adorable turkey pilgrim that yor kids will certainly find amusing.

2. Coloring.ws (a DLTK site) has a page filled with 15 different turkey printables. What more could you want?

3. Disney Family certainly has some unique coloring pages. For instance, this Turkey playing football is too cute to not share with you and this one where the turkeys are cleaning up the Fall leaves.

4. ThanksgivingFun.net is just how it sounds. They have lots of coloring pages that will provide hours of fun for kids.

5.Â firstschool-ws (a site we love since we’re a homeschooling family) has some great coloring pages too from dressed up turkeys to cooked turkeys. Take your pick!

6. Another great idea is to take a photo of your child playing in the leaves or near a fall scene then turn it into a coloring page in Adobe photoshop. Then print it out for your kids for a real treat!
