What Can Be Used As A Substitute in Recipe That Asks For Eggs?
Your child may be allergic to eggs, maybe you want to cut out the cholesterol, or you may just be out of eggs…Anyway, I’ve been in all 3 of these situations at some point or another so I thought I would share with all of you some things you can use instead of eggs when your recipe calls for eggs and you don’t have any or can’t use any in your recipe due to kid food allergies.
Good egg substitutions for baked goods such as cakes, brownies, and breads:
half of a chopped/pureed banana
3 tablespoons of applesauce any kind… I like the unsweetened kind the best for brownies
jarred baby food such as bananas, apples, or pears
For other types of cooking that requires eggs you can also try out this:
2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 tablespoon of butter, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and 2 teaspoons of water
soda products
vinegar
flaxseed

St. Patrick’s Day Kids Fashion - No Longer Just A Green Tee!
St. Patrick’s Day is coming up in a few days which made me start thinking about what I want my boys to wear that day. Typically, green is the fashion color of choice on this day due to several things but much of it has to do with American tradition rather than Irish tradition. Kids 4-8 Needed For The Morning Show ASAP!
The Morning Show is doing a Kid’s version of our health segment, “The Doc is in” on this coming Tuesday, March 17th.
