What To Do With Those Left Over Hard Boiled Easter Eggs
Easter has come and gone but you still probably have a dozen or so brightly colored hard boiled eggs left over. So, what can you do with them? If you are frugal like me you will find some way to use them as long as they have been kept clean and refrigerated.
1. If any of them are cracked then you should just toss them into the garbage
2. You can serve them to your kids for breakfast today and tomorrow as long as they have been refrigerated
3. You can turn them into pickled eggs
4. You can use them in various dishes such as tuna salad, egg salad, potato salad, deviled eggs etc. Fabulous Living has some delicious ideas.
5. Use the shells in a compost pile. Here are more Egg Shell Uses at Thrifty Fun.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Don’t forget to check out our Monday’s Cute Kid and submit your child’s photo too!
Fun & Easy Paper Bag Easter Bunny Craft
Easter Sunday is fast approaching and if you are like the rest of us then you are frantically searching for a fun craft for your kids. I recently came across some really cute Easter Bunny crafts that I think you will enjoy. The really cool thing about this craft is that it’s easy and you probably already have the supplies you need lying around your house. So, what is it you ask? It’s the Paper Bag Easter Bunny Craft. It’s fun and relatively simple for most age groups. If your child is under 4 then they will probably need your help with cutting and gluing.
Supplies You Need:
brown paper bag, googly eyes, scissors, glue, markers, crayons, construction paper (preferrably pink, white, or brown)
I’m not going to write out the details here on how to create your Easter Bunny Craft since there are already some great tutorials/instructions online elsewhere. Here are our favorites:
