Gluten-Free Allergy Friendly Rice Gravy & Biscuits Recipe
Being from and living in Kentucky means that gravy and biscuits is a staple breakfast food. I grew up eating it and my 6 year old son LOVES this breakfast meal. However, since he has eosinophilic esophagitis (a rare food allergy disorder that I’ve discussed multiple times here and on my other blog) he isn’t able to eat like most kids. In response to that we came up with a recipe that is gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, nut-free and almost meat-free! Yes, it was a challenge but he loves this recipe! I think you or your kids will too (especially if they are like our son and can only eat a few foods)

September,October, & November ‘10 Winners
First off I’d like to apologize for my lack of updates as of late and for being very behind in posting our recent free baby photo contest winners. However, I do have a life outside of this website which includes homeschooling 2 kids ( one of which is chronically ill), 3 other websites, and an offline start-up photography biz that has kept me quite busy these past 2 months. I’ll share some portraits from our sessions in another post so you can see how busy my husband and I have been. Again, I am sorry and my hope is that I do not fall this far behind again.
The September, October, and November winners will be included in this post. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding as I catch up.

Dairy-Free Allergy Friendly Chocolate Fudge Candy Recipe
Our son has multiple food allergies caused by an eosinophilic disorder. Recently he was taken off of steroids and put on what most people would consider an extreme diet. Like most kids, he enjoys sweet chocolate desserts but with a long list of foods to avoid, finding a sweet treat in stores proved to be next to impossible. So we came up with our own fudge recipe and just hoped that it would turn out…and it did! If you have a child or family member with multiple food allergies I hope this recipe works for you.
