5 Easy Common Sense Steps To Baby Proof Your Home
We put this list together some time ago and wanted to share it again with you here on the blog since it is such an important topic.
Here are five easy steps to baby proof your home before the new baby arrives.
1. Get down and crawl through the house like a baby would and search for all potential hazards so you don’t miss anything before baby starts crawling.
2. Baby proof BEFORE your baby starts crawling. Don’t wait until he or she has already started.
3. Lock your cabinet doors in all rooms with baby proof locks. Put all potential hazardous items in the cabinets or high up where baby can’t reach them.
4. Never leave your baby unattended especially in water.
5. Separate your older children’s toys from the baby’s toys as older toys can pose as choking hazards.
In addition, here is a great article with more details on how you can provide a safe environment overall for your baby.
