5 Frugal Baby Shower Gift Ideas
Attending a baby shower is often a fun event where you get to catch up with family and friends as well as share in the excitement of a new baby. My favorite part is watching the Mom-to-be open gifts. I’m a sucker for itty bitty baby clothes. 
So, you’ve just been invited to a baby shower but you don’t have a lot of money to spend. Below we have five frugal baby shower gift ideas to share with you. Feel free to add your own ideas in the comment section. We’d love to hear them.
1. Baby Bath Bucket. You can get a cute bucket/pail at Walmart or the Dollar store for around $1 and fill it with baby bath items such as body wash, shampoo, lotion, and wash cloths. Under $10
2. Split A Gift. If you don’t have enough money to buy a specific gift that the Mom to be would like to have then split the cost of the gift with one or more people who are also attending. This really cuts down on the cost of the gift and everyone is happy. $ Depends on the gift
3. Make a Diaper Cake. If you buy a diaper cake you will have to spend up to $100 for one and this is certainly NOT frugal. You can make your own diaper cake to gift to the Mom To Be for much less. 4. Baby First Aid Kit Basket. Buy up some infant tylenol, Mylicon, a thermometer, teething gel/items, and such for baby. This is a very helpful gift to have around. Mom and Dad will definitely be thanking you later! Wrap it all up in a basket and you will have a nice gift. Under $15
5. Baby Clothes. Baby Clothes are fairly cheap these days and you can pick up around 3 or 4 outfits for under $20 at many places especially if the store is having a sale. If you are the hostess, you can also hang the baby clothes up on a clothesline and use them as a baby shower decoration too! Under $20
