5 Products To Help You Go Green On The Cheap
Most people think “going green” and “cheap” are mutually exclusive. However, we wanted to show you that this is simply not true. Here are five products that will help you become more eco-friendly. You CAN be green and be frugal at the same time.
1. Join the National Arbor Day Foundation. For $10 you will become a member and they will send you 10 free trees of your choice.
2. Use Purex Natural Elements Ultra Concentrate Laundry Detergent. Under $4 for 32 loads (that’s about 12 cents per load) at your local Dollar General or Walmart. Your clothes will smell awesome and you will be helping our environment at the same time.
3. Clorox Green Works Wipes. We love these natural eco-friendly wipes! What’s even better is that they work really well on all those messes our kids make!
4. Buy a reusable water bottle. They are surprisingly affordable. We like the EcoUsable stainless steel reusable water bottle. Only $12.99 at EcoBags.
5. For tons of very cool budget friendly green ideas invest in Josh Dorfman’s The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget: Save Money. Save Time. Save the Planet. ( I was lucky enough to be on a call with Josh AKA “McGreeny” a few weeks ago and he has some great ideas)
