Get Paid For Recycling/Being Green

get paid to go greenIn honor of Earth Day I’m going to share with you several sites/stores that PAY YOU for being “Green”. Isn’t that awesome? Yes, you can recycle and get paid for doing it. :) The following stores or websites offers customers money or store gift cards in exchange for old electronics, phones, gadgets, games, and more.  I’ll be highlighting the stores and their  programs below as well as providing links to the programs online.

Tip!!! I also wanted to share that I typed in information about an old camera I had lying around and was offered $15. Granted, it’s not a whole lot but its better than nothing especially if I’m never going to use it again. Plus I’m helping  our Earth in the process and there’s no price tag on that! Of course there also instances when you’re better off selling your item on Ebay for much more money. For example, I typed in Little Big Planet for Ps3 and was offered around $13.  I could sell it for around $30+ on Ebay.

Walmart: You can trade in your old cell phones, cameras, and more in exchange for prepaid VISA cards that can be used at Walmart stores or Walmart online. Walmart will even give you a quote online about the item you want to trade in.  This program is powered by Gazelle.
