Easy Saltine Cracker Candy Recipe + Cracker Candy Photos
This holiday season my son designated the responsibility of Christmas eve dinner and dessert to me. Normally someone else in the family does all the cooking but this year he wanted his Momma to do it all. I knew I could do dinner but desserts were questionable until I came across the Bakergirl blog. Thanks to her blog I was able to find a dessert and save the day. I’m happy to report we have a new favorite dessert recipe in our home. The great thing is that it’s not only delicious, it’s also so easy to make and pretty frugal.

However, since he has eosinophilic esophagitis (a rare food allergy disorder that I’ve discussed multiple times here and on my other blog) he isn’t able to eat like most kids. In response to that we came up with a recipe that is gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, nut-free and almost meat-free! Yes, it was a challenge but he loves this recipe! I think you or your kids will too (especially if they are like our son and can only eat a few foods)
