Easy Kid Friendly Toad In The Hole Breakfast Recipe
I love getting creative when it comes to my kids and their food. A really fun and quick breakfast recipe that kids will enjoy is the Toad In The Hole Recipe which is basically an egg cooked inside of a piece of bread.
Ingredients You Will Need:
Eggs
bread
shredded cheeses such as mozarella and cheddar cheese
bacon bits or cooked crumbled bacon
salt & pepper
you can also add other items to personalize your own toad in a hole.
Directions For Recipe:
Preheat oven to 350F
cut out small circle in bread (big enough to hold a whole medium egg cracked)
crack whole egg into cut out circle in bread on a greased baking sheet
bake for 8 minutes, take out of oven and add the bacon & cheese. Bake for an additional 4 minutes and then broil for 1 minute.
For this delicious breakfast recipe to turn out best make sure your oven is fully preheated and you use the correct baking sheet/pan.
Add salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy this fun kid friendly recipe.
