Easy Valentine’s Construction Paper Heart Name Craft
A challenge of homeschooling is coming up with cheap but fun & cute crafts for my two boys. Since Valentine’s Day is only two weeks away I decided that we would create a Valentine’s Day themed craft today. We ended up making a super easy construction paper heart name craft. Here’s a photo of our creation hanging by our window. Read on below to find out what supplies you will need to create one of your very own. Enjoy!

Supplies You Will Need for This Craft:
red, pink, purple, light blue, and/or white construction paper
red or pink string
foam letters
crepe paper
glue/tape , scissors, and hole puncher
Valentine’s Construction Paper Heart Name Craft Instructions:
Step 1: First you will need to cut a heart out of construction paper.
Step 2: Your child can place their name on the heart with the sticky foam letters. The foam letters with the sticky backing can be bought at the Dollar Store for only $1 which makes it much easier for kids.
Step 3: Have your child decorate the heart with stickers, markers, crayons, etc.
Step 4: Tape or glue pieces of crepe paper to the back bottom of the heart as shown in the picture above.
Step 5: Punch a hole in the top center of the heart and tie a string through it and your done!
I hope you had as much as we did with this easy craft! If you have any similar frugal crafts please feel free to share them in the comments. I love hearing about new ideas!
