Frugal Taco Filling Recipe
Often times meat is the most expensive part of your meals. To decrease the cost of your meal you can substitute beans or something else cheap that you like. Today I made tacos and instead of using a full pound of ground beef I used a little less than half a pound and added in some kidney beans to make the meat go further which saved money. My kids really liked it. I think you and your family will enjoy it too!
Here’s the complete recipe
Frugal Taco Filling/Meat Ingredients Needed:
1/4 lb to 1/2 lb ground beef
1 can kidney beans
onion or onion flakes
taco seasoning
Directions:
brown the ground beef in a skillet then add the kidney beans, onions, 1/2 cup water, and taco seasoning until fully cooked (usually about 10 -20 minutes).
Eat it with flour tortillas, taco shells, or tortilla chips!
