Homemade Goop Recipe Without Glue + Photos
I was introduced to “goop” when I was in grade school and it was such a fun mess! Now that I homeschool my children I wanted to share the fun of goop with them. Since goop is messy I recommend making it and playing with it outside which makes this a fun Summer activity. Late Spring and early Fall will work good too! Below you will find instructions on how to make goop without glue or borax so it is safe for kids.
Goop Recipe + Instructions: (no glue or borax needed)
What You Need: (makes enough for 2 kids)
1 cup powder corn starch
1/2 cup water (more or less depending on how you want your goop/goo to feel) You can add more water if it gets too hard
2 drops of food coloring (any color - we used green)
Supplies: bowl, mixing spoon/fork, and something to lay the goop on… preferrably styrofoam plates or old plastic plates. We used a big container lid on the ground.
How To Instructions: Mix all the ingredients together and then divide it up among the kids. It’s so fun to play with. You can wad it up into a ball and then let it run through your fingers. It can be a solid or a liquid. If it starts to harden just add a bit more water. My boys enjoyed just sitting down and running their fingers through it as you can tell from the photos
