It’s American Chocolate Week: Super Easy Chocolate Recipe For Kids

eatingdessert If you need an excuse to ditch your diet and include chocolate into your meal planning this week, I’ve got it! This week is American Chocolate Week which means it’s a whole week dedicated to celebrating chocolate. American Chocolate Week is the 3rd week in March every year!

That’s right - you can eat all the chocolate you want without feeling guilty. Plus dark chocolate has flavonoids which are good for you so pick out some dark chocolate desserts for the most benefits!

Below I have listed a chocolate recipe that is perfect for the kids. This recipes is so easy that your kids can do it themselves. It’s great for ages 3 and up!

I call this recipe the Simple Whip Cream & Chocolate Recipe. Yes, this recipe is as simple as it sounds. It’s something I do with my boys. First you will need to set up a tray of whip cream (can or bowl) and different types of chocolates like Twix, chocolate chips, Hersheys chocolate bar, Reese Cups,etc. Break/crush up the chocolate bars into small pieces then place them in separate small bowls. Make a line of bowls on a tray or table then let your kids create their own dessert. Recipe Directions: Allow your kids to add a bunch of whip cream to a bowl and put spoonfuls of chocolate chips or broken up chocolate bars into it. That’s it!
