Kid Friendly Meatloaf Flavored Pork Chops Recipe
I came across this delicious kid-friendly pork chop recipe by accident one day when I had no BBQ sauce in the house. I had some dry meat loaf seasoning on hand so I decided to create my own meat loaf flavored pork chops and it was a hit! Now my 9 year old son is constantly asking me to make this recipe. Since pork chops are a less expensive meat ( at least in my area) this is also a frugal recipe.
Meatloaf Pork Chop Recipe
Ingredients:
6 bone-less pork chops
1 packet meat loaf seasoning ( any brand)
1/4 cup ketchup ( any brand but I prefer Red Gold)
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
place pork chops on a baking sheet
mix meatloaf seasoning packet with ketchup then spread it evenly over the pork chops
preheat oven to 350 then bake pork chops for 30-40 minutes or until desired. I like mine a little brown so I bake them longer.
Serve with mashed potatoes & brown gravy or baked sweet potatoes for a meal kids will love!
Have an awesome recipe that you came across by accidental experimentation? I’d love to hear about it and share it here.
