Five Easy Ways To Make Your Photos Look Better in Adobe Photoshop

I really enjoy using Adobe Photoshop to enhance and make my photos look better. Photos straight out of the camera are OK but if you want your photos to really stand out then you need to learn how to edit them via a photo editing program. Right now my favorite is Adobe Photoshop. My husband, on the other hand, prefers Paint Shop Pro (You can see his Paint Shop Pro tutorials here). With photoshop, You can take an ordinary picture and turn it in something extraordinary. Getting to that level in photoshop takes some time so today I’ll just share with you some easy tips to enhance your photos right now. Anyone with a photoshop or similar program can learn what I’m about to show you in just a few minutes.

1. The first tip I’m going to share is not really a photoshop tip but it is very important for editing your photos later. Shoot in RAW format. Set your camera from JPG to RAW. Once you upload your photos to your computer and open up your RAW file you can fix mistakes you may have made (highlights, exposure, coloring, etc.) much easier than with JPG.

Interview With Up & Coming Sci-Fi Star Don Jeanes of Transformers 3

credit Dana PatrickCelebrity interviews are not normally our forte here on the Family Buzz blog but we do love those Transformers so we couldn’t pass up a chance to interview one of the cast of  Transformers 3: Dark of The Moon.

We recently got the chance to interview Don Jeanes (who plays Astronaut Neil Armstrong) in the soon to be released Summer blockbuster Transformers 3 Dark of The Moon.

1.What was it like working on such a huge franchise as Transformers?

It was awesome! It was incredibly professional, organized, chaotic and exhilarating all at the same time. What stood out the most from any other project I’ve been on is that the set design, props, and costuming were amazingly realistic. Also, the moon surface, lander and alien spacecraft you see in my scenes are life-size and very intricate.

Simple Construction Paper Easter Egg Tree Craft For Kids

eastereggtree2After searching online and through our mailbox magazine for some fun Easter crafts to create for our home school arts & crafts class we decided upon an Easter egg tree.

We saw many cute Easter tree crafts but since we only had construction paper, crayons, glue, and stickers to work with we couldn’t choose any of the more glamorous and elaborate tree designs. However, these construction paper trees worked just fine for our 6 year old! I recommend these for kids ages 4 and up. Complete instructions are below. Overall this craft is pretty simple yet fun!
