What You Will Need:

Construction Paper -brown, yellow, red, orange. If your package of construction paper doesn’t come with brown then use a brown paper bag

Googley eyes, you can draw the eyes or print out eyes from your computer. There are some templates online for this.

How To Make Your Hand & Foot Prints Turkey:

First you need to trace your child’s feet on the brown construction paper. The feet will be the turkey’s body. Then you will need to trace 3 sets of hands - one set for each color - red, yellow, orange. You will also need to cut out a small beak and set of legs from the orange scrap paper.

Once you are done tracing and cutting out the hands and feet, it’s time to glue the feet together to form your turkey body. See the photo above so that you know how to glue the feet together. Once the feet are glued it’s time to start putting the hand prints on as feathers. Let the glue dry.  Next it’s time to glue on the orange beak, the googley eyes, and the feet. You can also either decorate your turkey feathers with various items or write some things your child are thankful for on the feathers like we did.

You are finished!  We have ours clipped to some curtains in our living room.
