Valentine’s Day Book Picks For School Age Kids
Our love for books and reading are obvious as soon as you walk through our front door. Books are piled into every corner of our home. We purchase books for every holiday and celebration even Valentine’s Day. Below you will find a list of our favorite Valentine’s Day book picks for school age kids. These are the books that we love to read. These books are best suited for kids ages 6 to 9 years old. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as we do! You can also use them in your homeschool Valentine’s Day theme and create lesson plans for them.
Arthur’s Valentine: This is such a cute book. When I first made this list my now 11 year old son was just 6. We still have the book and I read it to my 8 year old son who loves it just as much.
Spongebob’s Secret Valentine: If you have a son or daughter who is obsessed with Spongebob then they are going to love this little gem of a Valentine’s book.
Roses Are Read Your Feet Really Stink: Diane Degroat is a wonderful author. Her books are filled with pure fun and her book illustrations are especially beautiful. This is a great choice to make your kids laugh and enjoy the spirit of Valentine’s Day.
Berenstain Bears Funny Valentine: The Berenstain Bears books always teach valuable lessons to our kids and that is why I love each and every one of them. In this one, Sister bear has an unexpected secret valentine.
Froggy’s First Kiss: My son loves the clumsy Froggy series so I had to include this cute little Valentine’s themed book. In this book Froggy has his first crush.
