I could write all the reasons why my Mom could have chosen to not be a Mother of love, compassion, tenderness, and caring. All the challenges in her life from a double mastectomy, a divorce after 16yrs., no child support, along with her Dad’s death, this could make any Mother fall apart. Yet, My Mother, my friend, went to work to provide for us, stood firm in teaching us God’s word, attended all events with encouragement, and even finds time to help other people. That’s a Mother of the Year.
