My mother is like no other! She is the epitome of what a mother should be. She is loving, she is patient, she is inspirational, she is sensational, she is sassy, she is classy, and she was born a southergirl with that great hospitality. She is a great cook, her title, no one has ever took. She has had her share of pain over the years, and has cried many tears. She still stands strong and wears her crown, proudly. I love her for who she is , who she wants to be, and because of all the love she gave, the mother I have turned out to be.

    A Special Mother!

When I was a little girl just 3 years of age the memories I have of our father is very vague, but if you ask me what memories I have about my Mother I could write a never ending story about her. My Mother Carmen was a brave woman the kind of woman that everyone can admire, she never said I could not, nor I will not. Our father left her with 9 children to rise on her own while he adventured the world by himself. Like many woman she could have just given up and let the system raise us after all, there was 9 of us! But No not my Mother she would not give up she knew it would be a challenge and she was willing to take it on…My mother worked hard and took on 2 jobs she worked 6 days and some times 7 day a week to keep her family together and to meet her 9 children’s needs. While she was away at work my older siblings took care of us younger siblings. See my mother taught us how to care and love one another yes of course we had our riots once in a while but we were thought to love one another unconditionally. Family was number one! Our mother was not only Mom she was also Dad, It seemed nothing was impossible for her she had high standards! and expected her children to follow in her foot steps. With a one income Mother we managed to live well we always had a nice place to live and she was able to even own a couple homes and land.

My Mother….WOW she is a Hero! No one can replace a this mother she was beautiful inside and outside and had the worlds most beautiful smile, she was a fighter, a Doctor, a Police Woman, a Teacher but the best thing about her was that she managed to love us all! All 9 of us! I don’t know how she ever managed but she always had time for all of us. The day came when her body was tired and frail and she needed a beautiful place to go and rest, so than the angles came and let her know it was her time to rest. I believe it must have been an honor to take a Mother like this one to their special place where she would be rewarded for all of the good things she in stored in her children. All I can say is that this Woman, Mother and Hero taught me how to be a great Mother and now I am blessed to be called a Special Mother because I had a special Mother to teach me how to love my Children.

My mother has never been to a spa or been pampered. The reason being is that she is always giving to everyone else and never has taken the time out for herself. Since my father passed years ago, my mother has been the one we have all leaned on and I know it has not been easy for her. Not only does she keep her great grand kids, but she also raises my niece who is SMI and requires round the clock attention, meds, appointments. My mom is so old fashioned and continues to keep our traditional family dinner gatherings, after church dining out, and always takes the time to know what me, my sister, my kids, my sisters kids, her great grandkids are doing, calling us if she doesn’t see us in church, and just always giving us words of encouragement no matter what is going on in her life. Even my family members in California who are well off, are always doing things for other members in the family; and my mom seems to be the one who has been left out. This is her time! We would sure like for her to have a happy Mother’s Day, and let me tell you, THIS SPA PACKAGE WOULD BRIGHTEN HER DAY!
