Famed Scotch Whisky Joins with TV DIY Expert to Award $10,000 Home Bar Makeover
March 8, 2010, New York, NY– Grant’s Whisky today announced that it has partnered with DIY and home building expert Karl Champley to make one lucky person’s home renovation dreams a reality by awarding the ultimate home bar experience. Grant’s has launched The Grant’s Home Bar Experience Contest, an online competition where one winner will be chosen to receive a home bar makeover worth $10,000. The competition, which will be judged by Champley, also includes some high-value runners up prizes including bar mirrors, TVs and bar accessories.
Whether it’s turning the basement into a sports bar, the garage into a pub or the attic into a cocktail lounge, more and more people across the country are dedicating their time and efforts to creating their ideal bar at home. Starting today, DIY nuts and home entertaining fans alike can visit the Grant’s Web site at grantswhisky.com/homebar for their chance to win the opportunity to bring their project to life. By simply uploading photos of their third space - be it den, rec room, garage or any other space – contestants can apply for the chance to win the home watering hole of their dreams. The most deserving space will be selected personally by Champley, and awarded a custom home bar makeover including a home entertainment system and a 42” HDTV worth a grand total of $10,000.
