Boys & Poop!

Here's something funny our 4 year old said last night so I feel inclined to share...

As I was watching the ending of Fringe (BTW, my review of it is over here) last night, our 4 year old walked in just in time to hear Joshua Jackson singing "life is but a dream..." from Row Row Row Your Boat.

The 4 year old looked at me and said matter-of-factly, "Your butt doesn't dream, it poops!"

Hilarious! I just love my boys so much. All they ever think about are farts and poop! Hot Daddy even had to inform the boys during a homeschooling lesson yesterday that there was much more to life than farts and poop. I had to laugh at that one. :)

*By the way, we are giving away some Weight Watchers products over at A Mom's Review and the deadline is tonight so go enter NOW! We've also shared some great stuff for moms lately. I hope you'll go over and see what we recommend.

Are My Boys Human?

This week has been a rough week of pure sickness, and birthdays(husband's 30th and son's 6th) of which we did not get to celebrate due to said debilitating sickness.

And to add to the event-fullness(I made that word up I think) of the week, I'll present to you these two random actions from my boys this week.

First one...

The boys were sitting in the floor playing with their cash register and scanning things. Out of nowhere, our 2 year old scans his own penis on the cash register. What the hell? Where did that come from? Maybe next time I should make sure he has clothes on before he plays with the cash register just to be on the safe side.

Next up...

Today I was explaining to our newly 6 year old that we had to clean the house before his 6th birthday party tommorow and he replies with, "What? I'm not a miracle worker!". I was speechless...for about 1 whole second!

I'm am continually amazed by my two boys. There is never ever a dull moment and I don't think I will ever have to worry about being bored for the rest of my lifetime.
